E+ Energy Transition Institute at the NYCW

The E+ Institute organized 5 side-events to promote important discussions on the electricity sector, decarbonization of the industry and emissions reductions. Join us.

The event “Green Supply Chains: Brazil as a Key Player in Low-Emission Product Supply” will explore Brazil’s strategic role in promoting green supply chains, highlighting the country’s potential to supply low-emission products. Bringing together experts and industry leaders, the event will discuss innovations, public policies, and international partnerships that can position Brazil as a central player in the transition to a more sustainable global economy.

Join us for an online event that will discuss Brazil’s role as a biofuels producer. The event will explore the country’s history in biofuels production, its current position, and the socio-economic impacts of this industry. Additionally, topics such as the connection between the expansion of biofuels production and reforestation, national and international goals for biofuels use, and the next steps to consolidate the Biofuels Agenda in Brazil will be addressed.

Our online event will focus on key aspects of Brazil’s energy system, including the need for reform, adaptation to climate change, and the experience of maintaining a predominantly renewable system. We will also explore the challenges and opportunities of this energy matrix and discuss the impact of phasing out fossil fuels on the country’s energy future.

A presential event with the aim of discussing industrial policies from the perspective of decarbonization, as well as how the restructuring of global trade can be fundamental to the success of the global climate agenda.

In-person event aimed at discussing the experience and key outcomes of Brazil’s G20 presidency in the context of industrial decarbonization and the decentralization of the production chain. The objective is to explore how these lessons can be transformed into tangible actions to be implemented in Brazil and to discuss recommendations for priority topics for COP30. The event will highlight opportunities for leadership for Brazil and other Global South nations.
