The sixth webinar of the Energy Transition in the World series brings the experience of South Africa and the opportunities for socioeconomic development brought by energy transition. With an energy matrix highly based on mineral coal (70% of installed capacity), South Africa faces the challenge of developing its economy while making a fair transition from coal to cleaner energy sources.

To present the South African context and perspectives, the E+ Energy Transition Institute invited Bruce Raw, Director of Strategy at the South African think tank GreenCape.

Paralleling the Brazilian context and moderating the event, the Founding Partner of Volt Robotics and former Director of Regulation and Energy Planning at EDP Energias do Brasil, Donato Filho.
