“The Brazilian Power System going from Low to Zero Carbon: Fiction or Possibility?”, in face of the abundant renewable and gas resources available in Brazil, was the third event at COP 25, promoted by E+ Institute. The event addressed the debate on economic rationale pathways that power sector can follow to keep its low carbon outlook or even to achieve the more ambitious goal to become completely decarbonized.

As panelists were Joaquim Levy – Former President of Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), and former Minister of Finance; Luiz Barroso – Former President of Brazilian Energy Research Office (EPE), current CEO of PSR Energy Consulting and Analytics; and as moderator the event count on Marina Grossi – President of the Brazilian Business Council for Sustainable Development (CEBDS).
